Terms of sale

These terms apply to goods and services supplied by Medical Equipment KE unless a separate signed agreement or tender contract says otherwise.

Quotations

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are subject to stock availability and exchange rate movement on imported items at the time of order confirmation.

Orders and payment

Orders are confirmed on receipt of a signed quotation, a local purchase order, or payment. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates given in good faith. Where a lead time will be exceeded we will tell you as soon as we know.

Warranty

Warranty covers manufacturing defects for the period stated on your quotation. It does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised repair, power surges, or use of non approved consumables.

Returns

Report faulty or incorrectly supplied goods within seven days of delivery. Sterile and single use consumables cannot be returned once opened.

Regulatory

Some equipment and devices are subject to Kenyan regulatory requirements. Where registration, licensing or professional qualification is required to operate a device, that responsibility rests with the purchaser.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
