What it is

An infusion set, often called a giving set, is the tubing that carries fluid from the bottle or bag to the cannula. This one has a built in air vent. That means it works with glass bottles and plastic bags, so one set covers both.

The vented spike has a bacterial air filter. Fluid drips through a chamber with a 15 micron filter, then runs down 150 cm of PVC tubing. A roller clamp sets the flow. A latex injection bulb sits on the line. The set ends in a luer lock with a cap.

The drop factor is 20 drops per ml. The set is EO sterilised and single use.
