About this item

If all your fluids come in plastic bags, why stock a vent you do not need?

What it is

An infusion set, often called a giving set, is the tubing that carries fluid from the bag to the cannula. This is an economy set made for plastic bags. It has no air vent.

The sharp spike goes into the bag. Fluid drips through a chamber with a 15 micron filter, then runs down 150 cm of PVC tubing. A V type roller clamp sets the flow. A self sealing latex injection bulb sits on the line. The set ends in a luer tip or luer lock.

The drop factor is 20 drops per ml. The set is EO sterilised, non pyrogenic and single use.

Why facilities buy it

Medical Equipment KE is the Nairobi partner shop for Sternmed Afrika Ltd. Sternmed's parent company is Aura Trade and Capital GmbH in Austria. Every box we sell is original Sternmed stock. Our team checks it before it leaves Nairobi.

Most Kenyan facilities now run fluids from plastic bags. A non vented set does that job without extra parts. Staff work out drip rates with the familiar 20 drops per ml figure.

Buying here also means a shop that already serves real customers every week. Faith knows the stock and answers fast.

Facilities also like buying from one shop. You can order these consumables and our Sternmed Premium Medical Underpads in the same WhatsApp message. One supplier, one delivery, one payment.
