What it is

A Foley catheter is a soft tube a nurse places in the bladder to drain urine. A small balloon near the tip is filled with water to hold it in place. Two way means one channel drains urine and one fills the balloon.

This one is FR 12, which is 4 mm wide. It is the smaller size for patients who need it. The body is amber latex with a silicone elastomer coating. It is 40 cm long with opposing oval drainage eyes.

The balloon is 5 cc or 10 cc. Each catheter is sterile and single use. It comes in a peel apart pack.
