Which one do you actually need
If the person can walk a few steps with help, a folding commode seat placed over the existing toilet raises the seat height and adds arm rests. That is often all that is needed and it folds away when guests come.
If the person cannot reach the bathroom in time, a padded commode chair with a bucket beside the bed is the honest answer. It protects dignity and it saves the mattress.

What to check before you buy
